Abrigo® Paper is acid-free, pH neutral, and non-abrasive. It uses Zerust® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology that is odorless, safe and does not leave a residue. The paper is sourced from responsibly managed forestry product suppliers. The product is fully recyclable and repulpable. The Abrigo® paper is alo available in Kreep and coated PE versions.
Key Features:
Papers: Abrigo® is a corrosion protection paper produced from 40 g/m² or 70 g/m² kraft paper surface treated with a solution of volatile corrosion inhibitors. Crepe kraft paper is active on both sides. PE coated paper is active on the paper side only.
Cardboards: Abrigo® Corrugated Board is a corrosion protection material produced from corrugated board impregnated with active VCI molecules.
Aspect: Brown, traditional paper color, printed for differentiation.
Proportion VCI/ surface to be protected: 1 m² of Abrigo® can protect up to 10 m² of metal surface. The dosage will vary depending on certain factors (such as packaging design, logistical processes, part pre-treatment, etc.). Therefore, prior technical consultation may be required.
