Perigol® DW oils are solvent-based protective oils with very good dewatering properties. They are suitable for the protection of cast iron, steel, galvanized steel, copper, brass, aluminum alloys, magnesium and other metals.
Perigol® DW oils remove residual moisture from the surface of the parts. In some cases, they can dissolve corrosive residues from the process. For best results, it is recommended to use Perigol® DW oils by immersion.
After draining, the parts can be conditioned in our Zerust Valeno and Gardac Valeno products after a solvent evaporation time of about 60 minutes depending on the specificities of the application. After protection, it is usually not necessary to wash the parts. If the latter is necessary, the parts can be washed with aqueous alkaline solutions (by spraying or immersion) or with solvent solutions.
