Our VCI Emitter

Zerust Excor VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) diffusers are portable, self-contained devices that release volatile corrosion-inhibiting molecules.

These molecules settle on metal surfaces in an enclosed space, forming an invisible protective layer that prevents oxidation and corrosion.

The diffusers are available in various forms:
• Capsules
• Tubes
• Foam
• Bags
• Caps

FAQ

Our VCI diffusers are specially designed to provide long-lasting protection for electronic components, electrical cabinets, metal enclosures and other sensitive areas. By gradually releasing corrosion inhibitors, they offer continuous protection without leaving any residue.
Installation is simple: just place the diffuser in the space that needs to be protected (box, cupboard, etc.). No tools or complicated fasteners are required.
Make sure you seal the space properly to prevent air exchange.
The protective layer forms between 30 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the size of the capsule and the volume to be saturated. Depending on the model, VCI diffusers can provide up to 2 years of protection under all conditions. Each product comes with a technical data sheet indicating its effective service life.
They are ideal for enclosed, confined environments: electrical cabinets, inside machines or any space where moisture can accumulate without air circulation. They are also perfectly suited to automated packaging lines, thanks to their compact and rigid format, which makes them easy for robots to handle.
It is important to adjust the number of diffusers to the volume of the space to be protected. For example, a VC2-1 capsule protects approximately 1 cubic metre.
VCI diffusers must remain in their sealed packaging until ready for use in order to maintain the effectiveness of the VCI molecules. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, at a temperature below 30 °C.
After use, the diffuser capsules should be disposed of in the plastic recycling bin together with their original packaging, with the exception of Emibo Nature, whose packaging is made of cellulose and can therefore be recycled as waste paper and disposed of in the appropriate bin.
